Kate Vorona, born and currently resides in the Republic of Moldova, is a figurative painter that features complex surrealistic figures blending into one another. The repeating patterns, line work, color palette and style in the foreground and background exhibit mastery and tranquility throughout this contemporary collection.

"In my artworks I focus on contemporary expressionistic, figurative painting. I like to immerse myself in inner world of my characters, full of passion and tension. I use vivid colors, dynamic composition, and contrast between textured and flat-colored surfaces to convey this inner state and bring it to the viewer. In this series of paintings, the interactions between the characters, a choreography in some way, is something between dancing, falling and flying together. Either way, it is a passionate interaction between people, affected by a single powerful force - be it music, wind, or gravity. To emphasize the influence of the environment I let the color of the ambiance influence the color of figures."
